The Washington Supreme Court has declined to review a judgment in favor of a Smith Alling client.
Smith Alling attorney Russell Knight represented a Pierce County resident in a case against a property developer for violations of the Washington State Securities Act for misrepresenting and failing to disclose key details of the developer’s project.
In a 2015 trial, the jury found in favor of our client, resulting in a judgment of over $4 million. The opposing party appealed to Division II of the Court of Appeals, which affirmed the trial court in May 2017. The Supreme Court’s December 2017 Order makes the judgment final.
